Warehouse Associate

Established in 1990 in Montreal, Canada, Labomar Canada (Previously Importfab) is a pharmaceutical company with more than 30 years’ experience in the North America pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutraceutical sector. Its core business area is the development, production and packaging of top-quality liquid, semi-solid and cream products for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutraceutical industry. It became part of the Labomar Group in 2019.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Receive raw materials and packaging materials
- Sample raw materials and packaging materials according to quality control specifications and safety standards
- Identify all containers, boxes or groups of boxes with the appropriate labels
- Complete receipt slips while assigning lot numbers to materials and components received
- Place stock in warehouses and record locations
- Prepare shipping documents, secure pallets with film in preparation for transport
- Prepare orders for packaging from the “pick lists”
- Load and unload trucks
- Prepare raw materials for use in the laboratory and for shipment to customers
- If necessary, prepare and cover pallets during transfer to an external warehouse
- Ensure that sampling is done in such a way that the risk of product contamination is minimized
- Ensure that raw materials are stored with respect good manufacturing practices - GMP
- Use the forklift safely to avoid injuries
- Ensure that the material is securely attached to the pallets during shipments
- Empty warehouse trash cans and put them in the waste container
- Clean warehouse floors
- Work in compliance with good manufacturing practices, procedures, staff safety and the environment
- Perform other tasks related to the job which may be requested by the supervisor
**Experience/Qualifications**
- High School diploma, with 2 to 4 years of experience as Warehouse associate; BS/BA Degree preferred
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, Pharmaceutical, or related field.
- Forklift certificate (is preferred)
- Ability to lift and move products (up to 55lbs)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Syteline, SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel)
- Communication skills in English and French
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Highly organized, and details oriented
- Customer-focused attitude

**Responsabilités Principales**
- Réception des matières premières et des matériaux d'emballage
- Échantillonnage des matières premières et des matériaux d'emballage selon les spécifications de contrôle qualité et les normes de sécurité
- Identifier tous les contenants, cartons ou groupes de cartons avec les étiquettes appropriées
- Remplir les bordereaux de réception tout en attribuant des numéros de lot aux matériaux et composants reçus
- Placer le stock dans les entrepôts et les emplacements d'enregistrement
- Préparer les documents d'expédition, sécuriser les palettes avec un film en vue du transport
- Préparer les commandes d'emballages à partir des « pick lists »
- Charger et décharger des camions
- Préparer les matières premières pour utilisation en laboratoire et pour expédition aux clients
- Si nécessaire, préparer et couvrir les palettes lors du transfert vers un entrepôt externe
- S'assurer que l'échantillonnage est effectué de manière à minimiser le risque de contamination du produit
- S'assurer que les matières premières sont stockées dans le respect des bonnes pratiques de fabrication - BPF
- Utilisez le chariot élévateur en toute sécurité pour éviter les blessures
- S'assurer que le matériel est solidement fixé aux palettes pendant les expéditions
- Vider les poubelles de l'entrepôt et les mettre dans la poubelle
- Nettoyer les sols de l'entrepôt
- Travailler dans le respect des bonnes pratiques de fabrication, des procédures, de la sécurité du personnel et de l'environnement
- Toutes autres tâches liées à l'emploi et qui peuvent être demandées par le superviseur
**Expérience/ Qualifications**
- Diplôme d'études secondaires, avec 2 à 4 ans d'expérience comme associé d'entrepôt; Diplôme BS/BA préféré
- Expérience dans une industrie hautement réglementée, pharmaceutique ou dans un domaine connexe
- Certificat de chariot élévateur (de préférence)
- Capacité à soulever et déplacer des produits (jusqu'à 55 lb)
- Maitrise des systèmes Microsoft Office et ERP (Syteline, SAP, Microsoft Word et Excel)
- Compétences en communication en anglais et en français.
