**Position Overview: Project Coordinator**
- Pre-Con and Construction Project Coordination of EV Charging Infrastructure_
This role works directly with the Project Managers to coordinate large public DCFC electric vehicle infrastructure projects. This includes the lifecycle stages from initial client consultation, to design, procurement, construction, and client acceptance.
**Roles: Working alongside Project Managers to assist them with completing the following tasks**:
- Pre-con and construction project coordination
- Coordinate with in-house staff, and vendors to ensure project is completed on-time, on-budget, and to the highest standards in safety and quality
- Communicate with clients
- Manage change order processes, budget adjustments, and monthly billings
- Update schedules, project management software, and report daily
- Assist with multiple projects at different stages through the design-build process
- Procuring materials through suppliers
- Manage monthly invoices, client billing, and multiple project schedules
- Take meeting minutes and distribute after meetings
**Requirements**:
- Experience in working on construction projects as a coordinator or supervisor
- Ability to use construction industry programs (e.g., Procore, Sage 300, Monday and/or Asana)
- Proficient in using various softwares (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PDFs)
- Excellent communication, organization and scheduling skills
- Self-driven, self-starter, team player, and can anticipate needs and offer solutions
**Beneficial Skills**:
- Experience in working on “Design-Build” construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors
- Electrical trade certificate (Red Seal, FSR Class A or B) or equivalent experience
- Experience with civil works and/or utility design/installs
- Knowledge in estimating and design using Accubid estimating programs (Bidwinner Plus, Change Order Pro, etc.)
- Knowledge of electrical utilities like BC Hydro, Fortis, etc., and experience dealing with municipalities/government
- Familiarity with building codes (CEC, CSA, or equivalent)
- Skills in CAD, Foxit, Visio, Bluebeam, demand loading reports, EV-ready plans, and/or detailed project scheduling
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, contracts, and risk identification
- Understanding of contracts
- Exposure to COR safety and INS certification
- Speak French
- Can type 40+ wpm
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
