Budtender

**Overview**
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products to meet their needs. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that customers have a positive experience at our dispensary.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
- Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, oils, and accessories.
- Assist customers in making informed decisions based on their preferences and needs.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash and credit card payments.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring that all products are displayed properly.
- Upsell products when appropriate to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
- Handle heavy lifting of inventory as needed for stocking shelves or organizing displays.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the dispensary.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a bartender with minimum 2 years experience.
- Must have Cannsell certificate and criminal check.
- Familiarity with computerized systems and POS technology is essential.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain cleanliness.
- Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while providing excellent service.
- A passion for cannabis culture with a willingness to learn more about products and their effects.
- Must be able to lift heavy items as required for stocking purposes.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Flexible language requirement:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
