**Your Role**

As a Plumbing / Piping Site Superintendent, you will serve as a key leader on the construction site, responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating field activities, supervising teams, and driving productivity while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and timelines. Your expertise in managing subcontractors, resources, and schedules will be instrumental in delivering exceptional results that align with project goals and client expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead and Supervise**: Direct all on-site construction activities, ensuring teams work collaboratively to meet project milestones.
- **Plan and Execute**: Develop and implement detailed schedules and work plans that align with project goals.
- **Ensure Safety and Compliance**: Uphold the highest safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations and protocols.
- **Foster Communication**: Act as the main point of contact between field staff, project management, clients, and subcontractors.
- **Problem Solve**: Quickly identify challenges and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- **Track Progress**: Maintain accurate records of site activities, resource allocation, and daily reports to inform stakeholders.
- **Drive Results**: Take ownership of the site’s success, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**What You Bring to the Team**

**Education**:

- Journeyperson certificate in plumbing.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years in a plumbing / piping superintendent role.
- 10+ years in mechanical industrial or commercial settings.

**Skills**:

- **Plumbing Systems Installation** - In-depth knowledge of installing and maintaining plumbing and heating systems (water, gas, and drainage).
- **Code Compliance** - Familiarity with local, provincial, and national plumbing codes (e.g., NBC, NPC, OSHA regulations).
- **Team Supervision** - Experience in leading and managing plumbing crews and subcontractors as they interact with other trades on the job site.
- **Training and Development** - Ability to train and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
- **Problem Solving** - Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues.
- **Scheduling and Coordination** - Expertise in organizing labour, materials, and timelines for efficiency.
- **Safety Compliance** - Commitment to enforcing workplace safety standards and conducting safety training and leading by example.
- **Documentation** - Ability to prepare reports, change orders, and provide project updates and tracking accurately. Provide input into final turnover package.
- **Conflict Resolution** - Competence in handling disputes and ensuring collaborative teamwork.

**Salary & Benefits Package**

**Salary**:

- $45.50/Hr with time and half (1.5x) after 40 hours.
