Buffer/grinder

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grinder to join our team. As a Grinder, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and tools to grind, cut, and shape metal components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth and advancement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate grinding machines to remove excess material or burrs from metal parts
- Use laser cutting, lathe, milling machine, weld, CNC, press brake machine, and plasma cutting equipment as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to ensure accurate grinding specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Fabricate metal components using various techniques such as welding or bending
- Safely operate overhead cranes or other lifting equipment when necessary

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Grinder or similar role in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment
- Proficient in operating grinding machines and other related equipment
- Familiarity with programming CNC machines is a plus
- Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques and processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
