Vancouver, Canada B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives Full time

Under the direction of the Director, Information Technology, Information System Quality Assurance Analyst Team Lead, and other members of the Information Technology team, you will:

- Triage service desk tickets and handles known issues and standard requests.
- Performs impact analysis and identify severity of issues.
- Perform preliminary investigation on new issues and potentially suggest workaround and solution.
- Conduct basic CRM configuration which includes dashboard, view, and workflows changes.
- Provide quality assurance assistance, which includes writing testing notes, test plans and executing manual test cases.
- Identify and suggest process improvement to the operation team
- Reference and update user guides and operational manuals.
- Escalate new bugs via BCCNM project management tool (ie. TFS)
- For students who will be working during Jan-Feb (nurse renewing period) are required to provide a back up phone support for IT issues (during work hours).

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate student in a Computer Science or BBA program with a concentration in Management Information Systems;
- 1 year or less experience in systems analysis preferred;
- Strong capacity and motivation to learn Information Systems;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Possess excellent time and project management skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users;
- Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable, with the ability to adapt communications methods to audience needs;
- Ability to take direction and to demonstrate initiative in generating and following through on tasks;
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance testing practices is an asset;
- Experience with CRM systems and accounting systems is an asset;
- Experience with project management tools (i.e. TFS) or issue management tools (i.e. SysAid) is an asset.

**Education**: Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or better in Business Administration or related field
