We are currently seeking full time **Hydraulic Technicians **to join our team in **Lively, ON**.

**The Position**

We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of **Hydraulic Technician.**

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Inspection, rebuild, and testing of hydraulic pumps, swing motors, control valves, final drives, travel motors, and other major components for heavy equipment
- Failure analysis and condition reporting
- System troubleshooting
- Follow shop drawings, written instruction, and direction from the shop foreman to assemble HPUs and other equipment
- Complete work and test reports according to procedures
- Honing and lapping of critical parts
- Off-site hydraulic tubing installation
- Make recommendations for product/system improvements
- Perform repair services to the highest trade standards
- Ensure adherence to quoted and specified scope of work, component supply, and customer requirements
- 2-5 years experience in a shop setting in the hydraulic or industrial industry
- General fluid power product/system knowledge
- Millwright or heavy-duty mechanic training an asset
- Proven system troubleshooting
- Proven ability in overhaul/reconditioning/performance testing of hydraulic components
- Technical and mechanical ability with proficiency in use of all hand tools, machinery, diagnostic and performance testing equipment
- Organized and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate knowledgeably and professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal personnel
- Versatility and willingness to learn new methods
- High attention to details and accuracy
- Customer service oriented
