Grade Checker/junior Surveyor

**Grade Checker/Junior Surveyor Duties**:

- Read and understand Engineering drawings and documentation
- Operate Leica GPS survey equipment
- Layout for earthworks operations using stakes, paint, nails/ribbon etc.
- Communicate with Construction Supervisors and Equipment Operators to identify potential issues and ensure construction is to design and within tolerance
- Topo and volume estimates
- Assist with management of GPS Machine Control units
- Operate laser level

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings
- Grade checking/surveying experience (preferred)
- Construction experience (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
