Associate Outsourcing Manager

HB Studios is a driving force in the creation of sports video games and the studio behind PGA TOUR 2K Golf - presently working on Console and PC. We have an opportunity for an** Associate Outsourc**ing Manager **to join our team of developers, creators, and fans, who are passionate about the art and process involved in video game development.
As an Associate Outsourcing Manager, you will work with a team of professionals to support the management and production of outsourced 3D art assets for one of the fastest growing sports game series in the industry
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Outsourcing Manager, Art Management and Artists to ensure high-quality outsourced assets are delivered on time.
- Assist in providing clear instructions, feedback, and guidance to external vendors on the production of 3D art assets.
- Assist in managing the outsourcing pipeline from identifying suitable vendors to the delivery of final assets.
- Support the Outsource Manager in ensuring that all outsourced assets meet the quality standards by reviewing and providing feedback to external vendors on work-in-progress and final deliverables.
- Help optimize and streamline the workflow for outsourced assets, including 3D environment art, 3D prop workflow, and character art pipeline, with documentation, tutorials, and tools.
- Collaborate with the internal art team to ensure that outsourced assets are integrated into the project seamlessly by following art direction, file naming conventions, and technical requirements.
- Build positive working relationships with external and internal teams.
- Participate and engage in team and department meetings.
**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Typically up to 2 years of industry experience.
- Basic knowledge of 3D art pipelines and workflows.
- Knowledge of Maya/3DMax, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance Painter/Designer, and Unity.
- Experience with Project Management (Shotgrid, Jira, Confluence) tools.
- Experience with Source Control (Perforce or Git) software.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback.
- Self-motivated, technical problem solver and a team player.
