What You’ll be Doing
Ensuring program and course curricula are current, relevant, and reflective of emerging and best practices
Defining, evaluating, and validating applied learning outcomes across a diverse array of courses and programs
Teaching and developing curriculum for business mathematics and statistics, including but not limited to interest rate concepts and calculations, annuities, regression analysis, probability, and estimation.
Creating an effective environment for learning which accommodates students’ diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences, and individual learning styles
Designing appropriate strategies and tools for facilitating and assessing student learning that are invitational and reflective of best practices in teaching and learning
Developing multi-media materials and alternative delivery strategies, and incorporating appropriate educational technologies into the applied learning process
Ensuring that students are aware of course and program learning outcomes, learning strategies and evaluation techniques. Providing individual tutoring and academic counselling, and evaluating student progress/achievement within assigned courses
Attending periodic community meetings

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, Master’s degree preferred
5 years of relevant professional experience preferred
3 years of practical experience using Microsoft Excel in a related field
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and educational technologies such as D2L, and other industry standard communication tools
MOS certification and experience with external assessment and development tools would be an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Faculty**: Pilon School of Business
**Campus Location**: HMC (May be assigned activities at any Sheridan campus) during normal operations.
Currently the position is a hybrid of in person and remote delivery.
**Employee Group**: Non-full-time Faculty
**Hours**: Professors may teach between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm
**Salary Range**: Based on relevant educational qualifications and experience
