**THE ROLE**
- The Department Manager oversees the operation of specific departments within the MEC store. He manages day-to-day operations, meets sales targets, manages inventory, directs staff, and ensures that customer service is excellent. He is also responsible for analyzing sales results, developing a strategy to increase sales and maintain profitability. He also ensures compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar management role in a retail environment.
- Proven skills in team leadership, ambiguity management, effective communication, conflict management, and delivering results in a retail environment.
- Availability 7 days a week.
- Passionate about outdoor activities and leading an active outdoor lifestyle
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
- French required, English is a plus.
