**Reservations and Front Desk Clerk**
- Spring Valley Resort, 7489 Sideroad 5 East, RR6, Mount Forest, ON_

Reporting to the Resort Manager and Resort Administrator, the Reservations Front Desk Clerk will be responsible for the Front Desk/Reception and Retail Store at Spring Valley Resort.

**What you will be doing**:

- Greeting and checking in customers
- Processing reservations over the phone, on-line and in person
- Responding to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns in an appropriate, timely, and professional manner
- Handle all outgoing and incoming communication
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the retail store
- Cash handling
- End of day reports and deposits
- Inventory of retail stock and ordering
- Light cleaning and sanitation
- Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Ensuring ongoing communication with the Resort Administrator and Resort Manager
- Ensuring all resort activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
- Perform other duties as assigned or required

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Clean background/criminal check
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word is essential
- 1-2yrs cashier experience
- 1-2yrs customer service experience
- 1-2yrs receptionist experience
- 1-2yrs administrative experience

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts and reports
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Be aware of and operate within the applicable Occupational Health and Safety Legislation Standards, Environmental Health and Safety Policies, and company Health and Safety policies at all times
- Have a “Can Do” positive attitude
- Ability to act on emergencies as directed by Resort Administrator and/or Resort Manager

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Retention bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- MOUNT FOREST, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
