We are currently searching for an experienced (AND FUN) manufacturer/assembler to join our Vent Department in our growing shop This is a great opportunity to join a very busy, well-established company that offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and an unmatched team that values you

The role of the vent manufacturer is to ensure vent shop orders are completed on schedule and to a level of excellence that meets or exceeds Raymond EMC’s Quality Control specification. They are also responsible for ensuring a safe and clean work environment in the vent department while keeping the vent facility team lead updated when inventory or new tools are needed or when shop orders are falling behind schedule.

**Work in Manufacturing Shop Performing Regular Duties such as**:

- Cleaning & prepping duct vent frames / materials (cleaning frames and cutting steel Honeycomb)
- Soldering material (Honeycomb) to duct vent frames, to shop fabrication drawing specifications
- Cleaning, prepping, and painting duct vent frames (following shop manufacturing process instructions)
- Follow proper QC procedures through the stages of vent manufacturing
- Building skids / crates and packing finished products (Vents)
- Cleaning and organizing facility between tasks and at the end of the day
- Read manufacturing drawings, installation drawings, and Schematics

**Opportunity to Learn Additional Skills such as**:

- Mill & Lathe
- Welding (MIG and Stick)
- RF Testing
- Complex item manufacturing
- Cross training in multiple departments

**ASSETS Include**:

- 1-2 years of hand/power tool experience
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience
- 1-2 years of metal fabrication experience
- Experience with soldering
- Forklift license
- Willing and eager to learn and expand skills in a unique industry

**MUST HAVE Requirements**:

- Reliable form of transportation
- Valid drivers license with clean record to drive company vehicle
- Ability to obtain level 3 security clearance (can discuss this further during the interview process)
- High level of integrity
