We are not a traditional sushi restaurant We offer fun and creative expressions of sushi for Canadian customers Our diverse staff has employees from all walks of life. We value our team members and believe that if the customer does well, we want our team to do well too.
$15.80hr plus tips. For no experience and training.
$17 hr or more depending on years of experience
Permanent Position, Full Time.
40 hours per week. 2 days off per week.
Full time availability required. If you have another job, we expect to be your priority.
Willing to relocate permanently to Canada.
1 year or more of experience as a Sushi Chef.
Or express you interest in learning sushi with us
Post secondary education an asset
Good communication skills a must.
Must provide own chef tools, have a cell phone. Must have their own transportation, valid driver’s license.
Legal work status in Manitoba
Looking for chefs who are able to prepare:
- Seaweed on the outside/inside sushi rolls
- Break down whole fish into fillet
- Nigiri
- Sashimi
- Rice bowls
- Tempura
Staff must also have understanding of food safety and professionalism. Team oriented attitude. Good attitude towards work. Accepts and works with constructive criticism. Willing to learn and accept new responsibilities. Clean, professional presentation.
Fast-paced environment; Physically demanding. Must be able to work long hours and lift heavy loads. Stand for long periods of time. Be in good physical and mental health.
