Slitter Operator

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate slitting machines to cut materials according to specifications
- Perform quality inspections on finished products
- Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency and quality output
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the slitting machine
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with material handling using forklifts or cranes as needed

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating slitting machines
- Mechanical knowledge for machine setup and adjustments
- Ability to assemble and fabricate materials
- Experience with lathe, plasma cutting, and press brake machines is a plus
- Knowledge of programming for machine operation
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspection
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely

Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
