Communication Cabling Technician

Seeking a semi-experienced communication cabling technician - Structured Cabling Tech (Cable Puller)

**Job Description**:

- Pull & Terminate CAT6/CAT6A Cabling as per code
- Label, Test and Certify Cabling as requested using a Cable Certifier
- Work with a foreman as part of a team of 3 or more
- Dress Copper/Fiber cabling as directed with Velcro
- Install, Mount and fasten cable trays and J-Hooks
- Install Network Racks and Cabinets as well as Rack & Stack

**Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Cable Pulling or Electrical
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a construction environment
- Must have experience using various power tools
- Must be able to travel to various locations in the GTA
- Must have PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) such as Hard Hat, Steel Toes...etc
- Must have personal Hand tools (Multi Bit Screw driver, Scissors, Pliers...etc)
- Must be able to start work at 7:00am and be open to Overtime Hours
- Big Plus to have safety certifications (WHIMIS, Working at Heights, AODA)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cabling: 2 years (required)
- Construction Site: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)

**Location**:

- Greater Toronto Area, ON (preferred)

Work Location: In person
