**JOB OVERVIEW**:
EHV Power is seeking a motivated results driven professional to join our Project Engineering department in the role of a Project Control Engineer/Specialist at our Stouffville, ON location.

As a Project Controls Engineer or Specialist, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with both internal and external professionals. You will be required to develop project schedules, estimates, and monitor performance on assigned projects. Historical database of projects and labour hours will be provided to you for analysis.

**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
Specifically, these responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

- Lead and generate project estimates including project risk assessments
- Enlist the services of a field services personnel during the RFP phase to provide timely cost advice.
- Solicit suppliers and subcontractors bids and proposals for labour, material and equipment.
- Evaluate proposals to ensure they meet project specifications and budget requirements.
- Develop and maintain project level schedules in Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Ensure the scope of work is detailed and complete as defined by the Work Breakdown Structure
- Generate reporting from Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
- Conduct research to obtain data on union collective agreement rates, materials and equipment rental rates
- Generate change orders throughout the project as requested by the project team
- Assist in the Request for Quotations or Proposals submission process
- Primary point of contact for customer engagement for commercial activities
- Interface with stakeholders, subcontractors and vendors
- Assist in subcontract agreements and contract review process

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Industry experience in construction estimating, project management, cost engineering
- Proficiency with reading and interpreting standard construction documents, schedules, contracts and proposals
- Strong technical expertise to provide tactical direction and solutions
- Expertise in scheduling using Primavera P6 (Certified)
- Proven track record on delivering results
- Good organizational and leadership skills, and can work both independently and in a team environment that is dedicated to project excellence and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver reports, briefings, project plans, etc.

**EDUCATION**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science
- PMP, CCP, PSP certifications
- P.Eng or EIT are considered strong assets

**Salary**: $75,393.00-$86,213.00 per year
