Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.

We are currently looking for **Machine/Forklift Operators **at our newly equipped **Milton Plant**.

**Salary**: 23.80$/h - 26.80$/h

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Be safety oriented;
- Load, unload, sort, check, move, wrap, package, store and/or pile different products, material, raw material (pallets, skids, plates, blocks, paves);
- Operate various automated production equipment;
- Complete quality and production duties following the quality manual;
- Set-up product changes;
- Optimize cycle time of machines;
- Perform preventive maintenance of equipment;
- Performs all other related tasks requested by his superior.

**Qualifications and requirements**
- High school diploma
- Forklift Licence
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Team work oriented, initiative; responsible, able to react, to be precise; methodical
- Organized, must be able to work with established procedures, guidelines, people and under immediate supervision
- Use of Microsoft Word & Excel an asset
- Must be able to learn quickly and have capacity to safely physically handle weight up to 20kg
- Must be able to react efficiently and to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Must have an excellent attendance record
