Banquet Supervisor

**Chandni Victoria Convention Centre** is a facility with various banquet halls for hosting events and parties. This convention centre is located at 2935 Drew Road, Mississauga, ON, L4T 0A1. We are looking for a full-time **Banquet Supervisor (1)** to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including planning, organizing, and executing events;
- Maintain an inventory of supplies;
- Establish methods to meet work schedules;
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their needs are met;
- Manage a team of banquet staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling;
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to quality standards;
- Monitor banquet set-up and clean-up to ensure a smooth and efficient event;
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create menus and ensure timely delivery of food;
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment;
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner;
- Adhere to health and safety regulations;
Employment requirements:
Minimum secondary school education is required.
1 month to 7 months work experience in the food industry is required.
Wages: CAD 27. 00 to CAD 28.50 per hour for 32 - 40 hours work per week
Other benefits: 4% vacation pay
Terms: Permanent, Full Time
