Spiritleaf - We are Spiritleaf - **Crossroads**, South Keys, and Hog’s Back, franchised cannabis retail stores that are locally owned and operated. We are looking to build a team that will lead and inspire by taking a forward-thinking approach to the cannabis retail experience. If selected, you will help customers on their cannabis journey and help to create an environment that is engaging, educational and inspiring to customers and team members alike.

**The Challenge**
The role of Shift Manager/Keyholder is an opportunity to learn about, prepare for and show your aptitude for a senior management role. You are responsible to assist in reaching all store objectives, such as ensuring excellent customer service, exceptional product knowledge and regular store maintenance. You will also assist in strategic merchandising and handling product shipments, all while learning and developing as a leader.
**The Responsibilities**
- Open and close the store on time and following all set procedures.
- Leads the on-duty shift ensuring customers and staff are fully supported and all store procedures are understood and followed.
- Ensures store standards, policies and procedures are met or exceeded.
- Runs the store in the absence of Store Manager or Senior Shift Leader.
- Assists customers in the selection of merchandise by listening to each customer’s wants and needs while providing them information about the product, materials, technology, and functionality as needed.
- Help to support and create a team environment by respecting co-workers and managers.
- Handle transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintains store appearance
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and with customer service inquiries.
- Strategically merchandising in the store, ensuring that product displays are attractive, effective, and secure.
- Assist the management team with any ongoing training and reporting on employees performance - holding each team member to a high standard and providing coaching where performance falls short
- Completing end-of-day cash reconciliations, ensuring the store is ready for business the next day.
- Ensure building security is upheld by proper use of alarm systems and store security devices.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Strong experience in a retail environment
- Proven success in offering an exceptional customer experience
- A passion for positively changing the way our communities see cannabis
- A desire to have fun and laugh while supporting your team through continuous coaching and collaboration
**You must be at least 19 years old, have valid photo ID and be able to pass a police background check**
