Daycare Educator

**About us**

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our daycare as a part of the team in our 3 year old classroom. As an educator, alongside your partner, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

**Duties**:

- Supervise and engage with children in a daycare setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children
- Ability to work well in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.52-$28.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- daycare: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- French and English (preferred)

Work Location: In person
