Waterloo Emergency Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to join our team on either a part-time or full-time basis.
**Position Overview**:
As Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our clinic, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients while leading our employees and managing the administrative aspects of the practice. This position offers the opportunity for growth and leadership within our clinic.
**Responsibilities**:
- Human Resources Management: Oversee HR responsibilities including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Contract Management: Handle contracts for employees, vendors, and other business agreements. Payroll Management: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for staff members.
- Bookkeeping: Manage financial records and perform bookkeeping duties to maintain the clinics financial health.
- Scheduling: Oversee and coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
- Inventory and Equipment Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage equipment maintenance and procurement.
- Protocol Development: Develop and implement protocols to optimize clinic operations and enhance patient care.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure financial stability.
- Other Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks as needed to support the clinics operations.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or degree in business administration, veterinary management, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in veterinary practice management or related field required.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for animal welfare and dedication to providing high-quality veterinary care.
