**CARE Insulation Team Lead**

Reporting directly to the Director, the **CARE Insulation Team Lead **is responsible for ensuring assigned weatherization and insulation projects are completed on time, safely, cost effectively and with our high standards of quality workmanship. The CARE Insulation Team Lead works in a team environment and is responsible for supervising the activities of coworkers on projects sites as well as directly contributing to the installations and completed works. Additionally, they work with CARE Operation Specialist to assist in determining schedules, production expectations and assist in resolve conflicts as required.

Compensation to be discussed based on experience and performance.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, installation techniques, and industry standards
- Ability to understand work orders, specifications, and construction documents
- Knowledge of company software and Microsoft Office Suite 365
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Must be able to lift 40lbs and stand for several hours in a row

**Experience**:

- Completion of High School; post secondary education in construction, construction management or a trade is considered an asset
- 2 years or more of insulation installation experience
- Valid drivers’ license; experience driving commercial vehicles is an asset
- Clear criminal record check is required
- Previous supervisory experience in a construction environment is an asset

Job duties:

- In-home appliance delivery including installation
- Dropping off old appliances at recycling facility
- Providing good customer service
- Filling out consent forms for each delivery

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities** include, but are not limited to:

- Ensuring all field staff working on a project are properly trained in all aspects of the job including Health and Safety requirements;
- Ensuring assigned vehicles, tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order;
- Ensuring all corporate vehicles are operated in a safe, responsible and courteous manner;
- Preparing for and completing weatherization projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner;
- Provide supervisory support, guidance and training to assigned field personnel as required;
- Provide excellent customer service, answering any questions or concerns that may be brought forward by the customer;
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to develop best practices and techniques that improve the quality of installation and cost-efficiency
- Communicate regularly with the Operations Team and other Insulation Specialists to ensure they are informed of project status and identify potential issues
- Work with the Operations Team to analyze production and project costing results to identify areas for improvement
- Other Duties as Required

**Project Management - Insulation**
- Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work, materials required and the estimated cost of the project;
- Work with Operations to ensure all required materials are delivered to the project site as needed;
- Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met for all personnel at all times;
- Includes identifying potential hazards at the project site and other health and safety protocols
- Managing the production and quality of work of all personnel on the project site;
- Inspecting completed works to ensure they meet standards for quality and the requirements of the Work Order
- Ensure all project completion documents are signed off by the client and all project documentation is complete
- Includes project costing forms, timesheets, consent forms and other types of documentation that may be required
- Working with the Operations Team in reviewing project results and to improve service levels

**Installation Team Supervision**
- Ensuring installation crews are following health and safety and corporate policies and providing corrective instruction as required
- Assign daily tasks to Installation Team members and supervisory support as required
- Working with the Operations Team, identify job performance or attendance issues of installation team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

**Salary**: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
