**Responsibilities**:
OVERALL PURPOSE:
Prepares resource plans and schedules to support the delivery of capital, real estate and operational projects, including the effective use of labour to minimize operational impacts and avoid conflicting facility and labour requirements. Develops and supports the implementation of daily resourcing schedules. Reviews work requirements as established by Asset Integration and Capital Planning Specialists to ensure compliance with approved project schedules. Analyzes work activity requirements and monitors scheduling performance, reviews with the Capital Planning Specialist and makes adjustments to improve schedule performance. Receives, reviews and submits permits, working with the Possessions Manager and relevant stakeholders to secure timely permits.

Assigns work schedules to field staff and works with Asset Integration Specialists and Capital Supervisors to ensure the right field resource is assigned to the right job at the right time for the right work.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A certificate program in a related scheduling or planning discipline, including courses in project planning and scheduling.

Requires a minimum of four (4) years related experience in capital projects.

Demonstrated skills and knowledge of scheduling processes and procedures, including exposure to and detailed knowledge of scheduling systems and costing.

Strong analytical skills when developing and recommending resource plans.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Solid computer skills in standard office software tools including word processing and advanced spreadsheet software, statistical packages and use of web-based and data management systems.

**Other Information**:
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

**Work Schedule**:
40 hours per week.

This position works predominately on-site

**Rate of Pay**:
Wage: $51.66 per hour

The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan.
