Facility Maintenance Forepersons are responsible for providing direction and leadership to their assigned laborers while finding ways to continuously improve the production processes, procedures, and equipment.

**PROJECT/POSITION DETAILS**
- _**MUST be local to the Grande Prairie area, NO LOA PROVIDED**_

**CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Steamfitter-pipefitters layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
- Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair pressurized piping systems.
- Hydro-test and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.
- Able to red-line update drawings to an as-build condition.
- Operate 2-5 ton picker trucks, telehandlers, skid steers, and AWPs
- Participate in daily Toolbox Meetings
- Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews
- Complete Task Hazard Assessments, Drivers Logs, and review Job Site Assessments
- Manage and maintain client relationships
- Ensure quality and inspection of installation
- Complete quality reports and required statistics
- Inform the Project Managers of any out-of-scope work
- Move equipment and materials between sites
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment for transporting to work locations, following applicable safety securement protocols
- Communicate work progress and safety performance to the Project Managers
- Maintain all equipment and tools in good and safe working condition and report any findings to the lead hand
- Manage and perform general housekeeping and daily clean-up of work areas

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**
- Must possess a valid Trade certificate from the appropriate provincial or federal authority

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES**
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Must be willing to travel to site
- Must Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors

**CERTIFICATES REQUIRED**
- Common Safety Orientation (Energy Safety Canada)
- H2S Alive (Energy Safety Canada)
- First Aid Lvl C
- AWP/Fall Protection
- WHMIS 2015
