Weld Destruct

**Job Summary**
- Perform general plant floor inspections, including functions such as charting, reporting, lab testing, tagging training and document control.
- Perform break-down of metal parts using equipment such as plasma cutters, air hammer chisels, push-out & pull testers and saws.
- Assist with various Quality Department administration functions regarding corrective actions, problem solving and continuous improvements, etc.
- Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using ultrasonic and other non-destructive testing methods

**Job Requirements**
- Experience in both **Non-destruct and Destruct testing is preferred**. Experience in a Quality Department or in the field of automotive stampings and assemblies is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience must contain strong organizational, communication, administrative and time management skills.
- Ability to work all shifts including overtime.
