As a prep cook/cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, cooking meals, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. - Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen
