What You’ll Be Doing
The Contact Centre Channel Optimization team is focused on providing self-serve client solutions to promote digital and Interactive Voice Reception (IVR) containment in an effort to reduce unnecessary calls into our Contact Centres. Reporting to the Director, Channel Optimization, the Project Coordinator Co-op will be responsible for supporting our team mandate to enhance and optimize our online banking and digital banking platforms. Tasks include, but not limited to:
- Developing mock ups of proposed solutions for socialization with Partners
- Collecting requirements from technology teams
- Building PowerPoint presentations for executive presentations
- Supporting with post-implementation analysis and reporting benefit measurement
This role will require collaboration with your peers, business partners, and a curious mind to look for opportunities for improvement our clients’ experiences in our self-serve digital and IVR channels.
At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
Important Information
- You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for this role.
- You are currently pursuing a degree in a related field.

- Work Location: Toronto. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
- Duration of Work Term: 4-month term available

- Deliver with speed: You make sure we’re delivering on time, within scope and budget, and are future-proofed. You can manage multiple priorities at the same time and iterate effectively.
- Teamwork: Help internal partners make informed conclusions about the development of programs, products, and services. Work closely with teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.
- Communications: Support ongoing communications between peers, stakeholders, business owners and partners regarding project impacts.
