**Who we are**:
Reporting to the BakeryTeam Leader, responsibilities for this positioninclude the following:

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values,and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives, with a strong customer focused approach
- Properly prepare productsto Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records
- Ensure to keep a cleanand well-maintained department
- Maintain and displayall types of bakery productsaccording to department standards
- Measure and combineingredients and use mixers, heat sources and other equipmentto make baked goods (bread)
- Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf;follow First In, First Out
- Engage and interactwith guests to create a positive shoppingexperience - in person and on the phone
- Take cake ordersand perform cake decorating and writing as required Perform other duties as assigned

- Knowledge of generalbaking principles and understanding of recipes
- Ability to lift and load products: extensivephysical labour is required Flexible work schedule, weekend and eveningwork is required
