We are currently recruiting for full time Drying & Curing Associate at our Ancaster, Ontario facility.

The Drying & Curing Associate will ensure that the quality of TGOD products meets the company’s standards through GPP and GMP-approved methods. The position is focused on the final steps of drying and the curing process: verifying and ensuring all material moving to the long-term storage phase is at an appropriate moisture-level for final packaging.
This position reports to the Drying, Curing & Extraction Supervisor.
**Work schedule**: **Full-time** **Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm EST. Weekend availability as needed.
**Location**:Ancaster, ON
**Main Duties**:

- Ensures safe work conditions and practices by enforcing company Safety, Health and Environmental policies while actively using the correct PPE for the task at hand.
- Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Good Production Practices (GPP) and GMP.
- Works closely with all finished product in the drying room, secured storage rooms and sampling area.
- Performs all activities related to rack drying premium sublot, harmonizing stage after drying, and all activities post EnWave-drying, including introduction of TerpLoc technology.
- Identifies and troubleshoots issues in batch lots during their cold storage phase prior to the packaging stage
- Provides support with moisture analysis / tests, dry product take down, racking wet material during harvest activities.
- Conducts moisture sampling and record-keeping of bag-to-bag variances while working with the drying Team Lead to harmonize moistures.
- Provides support with dry waste destruction and accurate record keeping.
- Organizes and stages rack-dried material and dried product take-down.
- Assists in maintaining sanitation practices for staff, equipment, and facilities, including the cleaning of dry trays
- Records and tracks finished product in accordance with strict regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in commercial manufacturing plant and/or processing/harvesting (or similar roles)
- Knowledge of GPP and GMP preferred
- Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including laborers, technical, professional, and upper management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Capable of:

**Physical Requirements**:

- Requires prolonged walking and standing
- Possibility of repetitive motions
- Duties are generally performed within a climate-controlled processing building and/or greenhouses (i.e., humid/warm workspaces)
