Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals following set recipes and menus in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Duties**:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook and plate dishes accurately and efficiently during service times
- Ensure food quality by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and adhere to food safety regulations
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with cooking techniques and equipment
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
