Position Summary:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for PIV Equipment repair and maintenance.This is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of our (PIV) equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and uptime of our machinery, enabling us to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on PIV equipment according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and implement appropriate solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the PIV equipment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, repair histories, and equipment performance data.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new PIV equipment.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using maintenance management software, documenting maintenance activities, generating reports, and utilizing spreadsheets for data analysis.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, preferably with expertise in maintaining PIV equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with maintenance best practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Essential Physical and Mental Requirements:
Some lifting is required. Willingness to assist in emergency after-hours repairs as needed.
