Dietary Technician

Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 5 years or more
- Foods, nutrition and related services, other
**Work setting**:

- Rehabilitation centre and special health institution
- Hospital/medical facility or clinic
**Tasks**:

- Assist dietitians or nutritionists plan and supervise food service operations
- Plan menus and diet for individuals or groups under direction of dietition or nutritionist
- Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food
- Help patients complete menus
- Assist dietitians with research in food, nutrition and food service systems
- Store, update and maintain databases
