**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- University Degree/College Diploma in Social Services

**Preferred Experience**:

- Minimum two (2) years of experience working with the homeless population in case management role
- Experience in housing/residential setting
- Experience working in a Harm Reduction environment
- Experiences working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Have a recent Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months)
- Have demonstrated the ability to work well being a part of an interdisciplinary team
- Have an interest in working within a structured clinical model
- have strong report-building skills to support working with clients who have experienced trauma
- Possess a strong commitment to working in a challenging but rewarding program
- Are willing to work evenings occasionally
- Have excellent people skills to facilitate relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, programs partners and community members
- Have a genuine interest in working with adults in a caring and empathic manner
- have access to a reliable vehicle for working with clients in the community is preferred

**Knowledge and Skills.**
- Demonstrate the use of Motivational Interview (MI) techniques
- Experience working with a client-focused, case management approach to quicken housing stability
- Experience working with clients that struggle with behavioural issues
- Be familiar with the Residential Tenancies Act and any other relevant legislation (e.g., Mental Health Act)
- Be competent in using needs assessment instructions (e.g., SPDAT)
- Are competent in using various data collection and case management software
- Experience working with people with substance abuse and mental health disorders
- Experience working with people with acquired brain injury
