**Role Description**

This role can be done remotely or in-office either in B.C. or Alberta, as part of our flexible location model.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with colleagues across Design, Art, and Cinematics to create strong visual stories
- Work with the Narrative and Design teams to develop missions that supports the game design
- Own and iterate on story plans, mission narratives, and world building documents
- Create engaging characters, exceptional dialogue, and diverse and inclusive stories.
- Shepherd a coherent tone and brand identity across the IP
- Evaluate feedback openly and provide quick turnaround on scripts

**Qualifications**
- 4-5 years in the video game industry
- Shipped one or more AAA games in an intermediate writing role
- Strong world building skills and a teamwork-oriented approach to development
- Ability to prioritize workload independently and produce quality writing on schedule
- Deep understanding of narrative structure
- Experience and enthusiasm for collaborating with other creative disciplines
- Strong understanding of how writing affects the game pipeline as a whole

**Base Salary Range**:

- $86,000 - $129,000 CAD
