- **Description of position**_

**General Responsibilities**:

- Maintains complete and accurate statistics and records for all project activities.
- Promotes the project’s activities through workshop presentations and public meetings.
- Participates in training, team meetings, staff and agency initiatives, meetings and events.
- Excellent administrative skills and experience in resource development; creation of content for training manuals, booklets, brochures, factsheets and on-line presentations; must be organized and systems oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment

**Program Specific Responsibilities**:

- With the Training Developer oversees and maintains all information for the website, online advocacy reference information databases, and training. Ensures appropriate changes to the website and reference material as required.
- Provides tenancy & income support services training online and in person for the service providers/clients.
- Maintains and develops working relationships with the Ministry of Social Development and other human-serving organizations.
- Promotes relationships with project partners, the community, other human-serving organizations and general public. Participates in community meetings, and other events related to poverty and homelessness.
- Exceptional knowledge of community resources and internet and research skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years post-secondary education in related field and equivalent experience in related field.
- Understanding of advocacy, Provincial and Federal income supports programs and tenancy an asset.
- Effectively utilize Office suite including Excel, Word, Outlook and central data systems
- Effectively communicate professionally, verbally and written in English
- Exercise good judgment, sensitive to a diverse client base and ability to deal tactfully with sensitive client issues; strong sense of social justice and strong desire to assist and improve the lives of marginalized people,
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training (Training may be accessed through Sources)
- Criminal Records check through the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Records Review Program Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and driver's abstract

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Salary**: $25/hour
