**Job Overview**

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and according to safety guidelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.

This job requires work experience in construction, but does not require a degree, certificate or diploma. We also will request a driving record check abstract for this position.

**Duties**
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Complete safety checks as required
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools as directed
- Assist in sewer water activities like shoring, grading, and geo-têxtile installations
- Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Track production and assist with survey layout**Certificates**

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License

**Experience**
- Prior experience in construction or a related field is required
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints is a plus
- Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job

We excel in Sewer and Water projects, ranging from subdivisions to residential/commercial tie-ins, and we're well-versed in LDS systems for Commercial and Multi-family developments. Additionally, our expertise extends to bulk and finish excavation, rough grading, and base work. As of February 2024, we are delighted to announce that GME holds COR certification, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to maintaining a secure and hazard-free workplace.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
