**We are looking for a Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team for this year's festival**

The Shuttle Bus Driver will work to provide friendly and timely transportation for patrons and their baggage between designated parking areas and tent camping areas.

**This position works daily on the festival site near Salmo, BC between July 18-23, 2023.**

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Drive the shuttle between the designated pick up and drop off areas, transporting as many patrons as is safe
- Keep to designated routes and maps
- Communicate to patrons, with the assistance of the parking staff, the approximate arrival/departure times of the shuttle
- Identify what is a safe number of people to transport on each trip and do not exceed this amount
- Report any equipment down time to the Infrastructure Manager immediately to prevent any potential level of service issues
- Work with parking staff to identify times when backlogs might occur to coordinate potential additional shuttles

**Qualifications Include**:

- Class 4 unrestricted driver's license & clean abstract
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Must be able to drive vehicles with a standard transmission
- Experience providing customer service is preferred
- Experience working or volunteering at festivals or other major events is preferred
- Capable of providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer and maintaining outstanding customer service standards
- Shows caution and discretion when operating site vehicles around guests and other staff to avoid any injuries or property damage
- Capable of working in a culturally diverse workspace without personal judgments or bias
- Comfortable working early mornings, late nights and outdoors in potentially unfavourable weather while maintaining a positive demeanour
