**What You will Be Doing/Position Details**:
The Janitor will be responsible for the routine cleaning and sanitation of Sierra Cold. This includes bathrooms, offices, warehouse dock, and the cafeteria. Minimal travel may be required to run errands as directed by management. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Efficiently move product from the staging or storage areas into trailers
- Routine cleaning of all spaces onsite (bathrooms, offices, the warehouse dock, locker areas, etc.).
- Monitor areas and escalate any issues to general manager or office manager.
- Inform management when running low on cleaning supplies so new ones can be ordered.
- Always follow OHSA, WHMIS and MSDS regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure a safe working environment, use consistent safe practices when cleaning.
- Assist with running errands as directed by management (picking up supplies, going to vendors, etc.)
**Minimum Requirements**:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Proven experience in a similar role is an asset. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of safe food handling, GMPs, sanitation, HACCP is an asset.
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret various labels.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle is preferred.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Comfortable working independently.
