Tax Analyst

Reporting to the Manager of Taxation, the Tax Analyst will be mainly responsible for supporting the Canadian and U.S. Corporate tax compliance and global tax provision functions. The individual will also assist in various tax projects for the CCL Corporate office in Toronto.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the Canadian and U.S. Corporate tax compliance process, which includes: preparation of corporate and informational tax returns along with associated tax working papers
- Assist with the Canadian and U.S. quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions calculation
- Assist with tax accounting issues and the preparation of quarterly and annual global income tax provision
- Assist with external audits and tax examinations from various tax authorities
- Review, monitor and respond to incoming tax assessments and tax notices
- Create and manage various tax templates
- Participate in various tax projects

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting required
- Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in a Tax specific role
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint in particular)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
