General Labour & Sanitation Team Associates to work in the greenhouse and production areas.

WPCP is a licensed producer now supplying affordable world-class cannabis products to the Canadian market. Whether customers seek medical relief, euphoria, or simple relaxation, they will find the right botanical match within our rapidly expanding roster of breeds, brands and products. As always, we will keep pushing boundaries to help raise the bar for what controlled cannabis can and should be.

Our Associates are responsible for the general labour, sanitation, clean-up and maintenance in the greenhouse, as well as provide back-up support to the production team for packaging of various strains of marijuana plants for medicinal and recreational consumer use.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform all functions to WPCP's standards of excellence when it comes to promoting the integrity of our consumer products, the importance of a clean workspace and adhering to health and safety regulations, Health Canada requirements, internal policies and procedures and any other legislative requirements. Ensure a thorough understanding of and follow all related SOPs and procedures to WPCP and industry standards. Ensure that all required documentation is completed on-time using good documentation practices.

- General manual labour in maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness of facility, as well as tear-down and set-up of grow and packaging rooms to meet operating requirements as needed
- Participate in the cleaning and sanitization of production and non-production areas of the facility
- Prevent cross contamination of product, equipment and product contact surfaces while performing sanitation duties
- Handling of product in a manner that maintains the quality and integrity of product
- **Maintain documentation, as directed, in compliance with Health Canada requirements and in accordance with SOPs**:

- Responsible for communication between shifts with Supervisors of key issues or potential issues
- Ability to cross-train and assist grow and production teams, as required with pre and post-harvest processing
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements

**General Info**
- Will be required to be on-call and to respond to emergency situations at any time. This may include scheduling issues, potentially covering a vacant shift, facility issues and/ or human resources requirements
- Fosters teamwork and promotes morale of all employees; participates in an environment where the entire team does the same.
- Support and contribute to special projects, process improvements and performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability and understanding of basic math
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively
- Ability to use initiative, independent judgment and common sense appropriately
- Ensures that safe conditions always exist within the work environment; adhere to safe work procedures
- Must remain compliant with any and all legal or Company regulations for working in the industry
- **This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure**:

- Must be minimum of 19 years of age

**Physical Demands**:

- **Daily exposure to warm and hot conditions in the greenhouse, temperatures inside the greenhouse vary based on the temperatures outside**:

- Regularly required to perform grasping, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 lbs (200 lbs with assistance)

**Availability**:
Own transportation is required, WPCP is not available on the transit system.
