The private residence of Weishaupt Design Group founder, Stephan Weishaupt, Yellow Wood is part of a larger network rooted in the world of design. Grounds Maintenance:

- Work closely with Groundskeeping crew
- Ongoing grounds maintenance, as assigned, of a 90-acre privately owned property that includes landscaped areas, hardscaping, managed forest, trail systems and naturalized pond
- Fell dead or declining trees, remove limbs and tree pruning; bucking trees into lengths for firewood with chain saw
- Seasonal grass cutting of 5 acres of manicured lawn; string trimming around garden beds
- Seasonal planting and maintenance of flower beds, fruit trees, and landscaped areas
- Upkeep 5km of trails, including mulching, clearing and tree felling
- Snow removal: operate snow removal equipment, shovel walkways, and maintain safe access to property and buildings in winter
- Light carpentry such as building woodsheds, water features, fences, retaining walls, gardens, and other design features Ensure proper disposal of garbage and debris

Facilities Maintenance:

- Maintenance as required on irrigation systems, wells, septic systems, and landscape systems and troubleshooting issues that arise
- Maintenance and upkeep of swimming pool and hot tub both regular and seasonal, as required
- Seasonal exterior building maintenance; water lines, eavestroughs, etc.
- Service and maintain landscaping equipment, including but not limited to hand tools and power equipment, mowers, tillers, tractors, etc.
- Small engine repair experience would be an asset

Work collaboratively with external consultants as needed including arborists, pond or wildlife experts, pesticide control experts, etc.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Team player with a positive attitude
- 2+ years of landscaping or groundskeeping experience
- Experience with tree work
- Professional appearance and punctual
- Valid G-Class driver's license or higher
- Ontario Chainsaw certification Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
