Package / Mail Screener

Job Summary:
As a Package/Mail Screener for our IT software solutions company, you will be responsible for screening and inspecting incoming packages and mail to ensure the safety and security of our workplace.

**Responsibilities**:
Package Inspection:

- Inspect all incoming packages, parcels, and mail for the presence of any prohibited or suspicious items.
- Use screening equipment, such as X-ray machines, to analyze the contents of packages.

Communication:

- Collaborate with security teams and communicate effectively to report any security concerns or issues.
- Provide clear and concise information about screened packages and any irregularities.

Customer Service:

- Provide courteous and professional customer service to individuals delivering or collecting packages.
- Assist with inquiries related to the screening process when needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to follow established security guidelines and protocols.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $22.45-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
