**About us**

The machine builder is responsible for fitting and assembling components according to assembly drawings, manuals, engineering memos, sketches and/or knowledge of machine construction. This position requires a strong technical ability and is for a motivated individual who enjoys a variety of responsibility.
- **Main duties**

Machine fitters perform some or all of the following duties:

- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams to determine assembly operations
- Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build industrial machinery and equipment
- Move and align subassemblies and components using lifting and transporting devices such as overhead cranes
- Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies

Inspect parts, subassemblies and finished products to ensure quality

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
