We work on a variety of contracts throughout GTA and surrounding areas, with commercial and residential landscaping projects including hardscaping, soft scaping, grading, retaining walls, planting, and sodding. Year-round work available, in the winter maintenance operations.

**We are hiring for: Horticulturist**
- **Job Duties**_
- Identify and control any insect/disease issues, weed control
- Follow design and assist in the planting and maintenance
- Accurately complete required documentation on time
- Daily organization and mentoring of crews
- Work both independently and in a team setting effectively
- Maintain gardens including watering, pruning, planting, grooming, fertilizing, removing debris, edging, weeding, dead heading, and reporting
- Use and operate tools and equipment used in horticulture
- When required perform other duties as assigned
- Interpret landscape design plans
- **Application Requirements**:_
- Must have a horticulture certificate/diploma
- Valid G driver’s licence with clean driver’s abstract
- Natural Leader and need little supervision
- Have knowledge of different plant species and diseases
- Knowledge of plant materials and their installation and maintenance
- Ability to operate horticulture equipment including lawnmower, line trimmer, back-pack blower, hedge trimmer etc
- 2-3+ years of experience in a landscaping position preferred

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- horticulture certificate/diploma (preferred)
- Class G Licence (preferred)
