Working closely with the Senior Tax Manager, Tax Specialist and Corporate Accounting team, the Tax Analyst will be primarily responsible for assisting in tax compliance, tax provisioning and tax projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate with corporate accounting team and business units to obtain tax reporting and tax compliance information
- Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns
- Where required, assist with the preparation of the consolidated tax provision and tax disclosure note to the financial statements
- Assist in the review and filing of GST/HST returns
- Review and prepare responses for GST/HST audits
- Liaise with CRA auditors and external auditors as required to facilitate inquiries and audits
- Assist Senior Tax Manager and Tax Specialist with tax planning and tax structuring
- Assist Tax Specialist with the calculation and coordination of monthly tax instalments
- Maintain tax attributes for the operating group

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Accounting designation
- 1-2 years’ professional experience in taxation is preferred
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Strong decision making, communication (both verbal and written) and analytical skills
- Organized self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal sills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
- Strong computer skills - TaxPrep, MS Office
