Dawson Wallace Construction Ltd. is looking for security professionals to assist in the day to day security of our Construction Project In Chin, Alberta.

The Visitor Guard Shack Attendant is responsible for maintaining security and ensuring the safety of our facility by managing visitor access and monitoring activities at the guard shack. This role plays a critical role in maintaining a secure and controlled environment for employees, visitors, and property.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Verify and document the identification of all visitors entering the facility, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor information
- Maintain a constant presence in the guard shack
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, such as unauthorized access attempts, safety hazards, or medical situations, and take appropriate action as per company protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by addressing their inquiries, concerns, or requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, or occurrences in a detailed and timely manner.
- Prepare and submit incident reports, shift logs, or other required documentation as per company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all security protocols, company policies, and legal regulations governing the facility's security operations.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must have at least 1 year experience as a security guard or security officer
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass a background check if required
- The position may require working nights and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in security, access control, or related field is preferred.
- Strong observation and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle and diffuse potentially tense or stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to the assigned Project

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
