**Who Are We**

Conway Scanlan & Associates is a highly specialized, boutique firm which focuses on conducting Psychological/Vocational assessments for the Courts. As such our referral sources are lawyers and we provide expert opinion regarding the vocational impact of disability and injury to assist the legal system in determining financial awards.

**Job description**

There are 2 main components to this position; both of which are integral to this position.

**1. Client Assessment**

We recognize that the following tasks are ones that are likely new to you Don’t worry, these assessments are conducted under the direct supervision of a staff Psychologist and extensive on-the-job training is provided. These responsibilities include:

- Administer and score psychological and vocational assessment tests by using standardized administration, procedures and objective scoring procedures,
- Provide the Psychologist with verbal and/or written descriptions of the client’s behaviour during testing,
- Participate in research activities as requested by methods such as conducting literature reviews,
- Assist in report preparation.

**2.** **Administration Duties**
- Accept referrals, set up client files and review the client documentation as provided by the referral source, follow-up as required,
- Ordering test materials as well as general office supplies,
- Schedule client appointments,
- Oversee the office to ensure the office is in "good repair" and functioning well,
- Maintain client and general office files, records and manuals,
- Update and maintain the Psychologists' writing schedules,
- Proofread reports for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors,
- Organize Company social events.

- Desire to strive for excellence,
- Strong computer and technology skills are essential.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s in psychology is required.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
