**Position Summary**

This position is responsible for hand polishing the stone to ensure that there are smooth surfaces and it meets the needs of the end client.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 12 - 8:30 pm

**Please note that at the moment we consider only applicants who are currently in Burnaby, BC, and eligible to work in Canada.**

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Hand polish all profiles from CNC machine
- Use air polishers to clean out and polish any areas the CNC machines cannot
- Measure and inspect parts during processing to ensure they meet specification
- Fabricate stone as required to ensure that angles and corners meet the specifications
- Polish, cut to size and label backsplash
- Conduct regular general cleaning of equipment and work area
- Work in a safe manner that complies with all Safety Guidelines
- Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Strong ability in measuring and inspecting finished product
- Experience working with stone countertop production an asset
- Experience with air and or electric tools an asset
- Attention to details
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Positive attitude with a dedication to high quality work and artisanship
- Outstanding attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
