**Purpose**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has a passion for finance.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of special projects, including cost-benefit analysis, return on investment (ROI), and sensitivity analysis.
- Evaluate financial feasibility and potential risks associated with each project, providing recommendations to management.
- Create financial models and forecasts for special projects, updating them regularly to reflect changes in project scope or market conditions.
- Work closely with the Owner to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial targets for projects.
- Identify and assess financial risks associated with special projects, developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor external factors that may impact the financial success of projects and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Create PO profit reports each week for sales team.
- Perform OGVG license upkeep and reporting.
- Average sale pricing each week using OGVG averages.
- Prepare wage analysis for AFI, including monthly comprehensive labour hours analysis.
- Prepare monthly energy consumption analysis.
- Reconciliation of monthly and yearly reports for HST and other internal financial reports.
- Conduct monthly and yearly inventory valuations.
- Conduct weekly inventory issue valuations.
- May need to assist with inventory and dry goods purchasing on temporary basis. o Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous agreements.
- Evaluate vendor performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast demand.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to align inventory levels with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models to improve accuracy.
- Leverage inventory management software to track and manage stock levels.
- Implement RFID or barcoding systems to streamline tracking processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in inventory management technology.
- Generate and analyze regular reports on key inventory metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on inventory data.
- Communicate inventory status and potential issues to relevant stakeholders
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct evaluations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine product and service requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Generate and manage purchase orders based on demand and inventory levels.
- Track and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve discrepancies with suppliers regarding orders and invoices.
- Analyze pricing proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonable prices.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Regularly review supplier contracts to ensure competitiveness.
- Work with quality control teams to ensure products meet specified standards.
- Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations.
- Collaborate with various departments, including logistics, finance, and production.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to maintain positive relationships.
- Keep stakeholders informed about changes in pricing, availability, and market trends.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related fields required.
- CFA or CPA certifications is required.
- Proven experience in financial analyst or related areas.
- Proficient in financial models, analysis and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of project management and financial principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge in FAMOUS being an asset.
- High level of attention to details, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong ability to work under pressure.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
